CODE ENFORCEMENT
OVERVIEW
The Code Enforcement Officer is responsible for addressing building codes, nuisance and property standard violations, and junk vehicles in order to provide a safe and healthy environment for the community.
Violations include high weeds and grass, trash and debris, illegal dumping and illegal home occupations. The main goal of this enforcement is to resolve violations to reduce neighborhood deterioration and sustain property values. Through the efforts of our code compliance officers, the City of Tulia hopes to gain willing compliance, encourage citizen participation and stimulate cooperation towards maintaining their property.
